How do I book a shoot?

You can either follow the booking link here, email [email protected] or fill out this form. You should receive a response within 24 hours. If not, check your spam folder!

Will you help me decide what to wear?

Definitely! The last thing you want is photos that don’t show who you really are so feel free to send me samples of outfits you’re considering, or ask for a personalized style guide and we’ll work together to make sure you look and feel good in what you’re wearing, without worrying about looking generic.

Can I bring a change of outfit?

Yes! During any 1 hour or longer sessions you can bring an outfit change or two ! If there will be multiple people and outfit changes, I recommend adding on additional time. Time spent changing counts toward total shoot time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I currently accept checks, credit cards, cash and Paypal.

I’m not sure I can afford a photoshoot. Do you accept sliding scale?

In certain circumstances with explanation yes. You can also reach out and I’ll add you to my creative shoot model list. These are people that I reach out to when I want to do a fun creative shoot myself and need models for.

What is the weather is bad?

I monitor the forecast up to the shoot and I’ll make the decision about whether or not it will be possible to shoot in those conditions. If I determine we need to reschedule there’s no rescheduling fee. 

Will I have time for some outfit changes during my shoot?

This depends what type of shoot you booked. For the 1 hour or longer shoots, there is probably time for 1-2 outfit changes if you’re a quick changer. If you’d like different looks, I suggest bringing jackets/hats/accessories that you can change easily! Any time spent changing is considered part of the shoot.

When can I expect to receive images back?

My average turn around time is 1-2 weeks. If you’d like to guarantee your images sooner you can add on expedited delivery of photos (subject to availability).

How will I receive images?

You will receive images from a digital gallery where you can preview them and choose which photos you’d like finalized. Once that’s done, delivery depends on which package you purchased. If photos are included with your package you’ll receive a link where you can download them. I recommend you save the photos in 2 places, just in case you accidently delete one of them. All packages have the option to purchase additional downloads or prints within your online gallery.

Do you edit all the images in the download?

Yes, I take every image and do color correction, exposure adjustment, and other corrections to ensure that your photographs from that session look similar despite different angles/lighting.

Can you photoshop me? What is retouching?

Once you receive your gallery, if you want I can retouch things like flyaway hairs and remove blemishes  or even entire items (like dog leashes). This will be applied on a photo by photo basis, so you choose which photos you’d like which things removed in. Then I make the changes. if applicable, they will be added to the final invoice but some package include retouching. I do not do any major body image modifications. Some packages include retouching, others do not. Please check what your package includes above.

Help! I got my download and I’m not sure what to do or where to print my photos!

I’m happy to schedule an in-home consultation to discuss sizes of portraits and where to hang them, as well as talk about pros and cons of different printing services.

In your digital gallery you’ll have the option to select to order prints from a professional printing lab.

Yes! I can assemble the photobook for you, or if you’d like to create your own on a website I’ll explain what you need in order to do so.
